Your article hits the nail right on the head. There are far too many children that are not only being taught wrongly about money but very bad examples are being set for them as well. Not only by their parents but everybody around them. I can't remember who said it but I recall a quote, "don't let the words you speak be drowned out by the thunder of the actions you do", it goes something like that. Setting the example is the single greatest thing parents can do to teach their children good money management skills. I also think far too many people view their children as burdens rather than blessings from God. Children pick up on this mentality and have very low self esteem because of it. Don't we all long for a society where every child grows up in a family who treats them for the blessing they are. If this were the case we would all be better off both spiritually and financially.
